Tahini Low Calorie Salad Dressing (No Vinegar)

Best (Low Calorie) Non-Vinegar Salad Dressing
First prepare Tahini – this is used in the salad dressing and the Hummus recipes
1 Cup Raw Sesame Seeds
(Toast in oven on baking sheet at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until light golden brown) OR brown in a large non-stick frying pan on top of stove stirring continuously until light golden color. (2-3 minutes)
1/4 Cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Sesame Oil, or Vegetable Oil
Pour seeds in food processor or blender with oil and process until smooth and keep blending until really smooth (like peanut butter) NOTE: this will keep for a month in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
Salad Dressing
4 tbsp Tahini
4 tbsp EVOO
1 tsp Sea Salt
3 cloves of minced garlic
4 lemons (juiced)
2 oranges (juiced)
1 ½ tbsp pure honey
Combine all ingredients in salad dressing container and shake until mixed well.
This will make enough to fill an average sized salad dressing bottle.
I use this dressing on salads and veggie macaroni salad….yummy!
