Welcome

Living a healthy lifestyle according to Our Creator God’s standards will give us a rewarding happy life. Being obedient in everything we do, whether it’s eating, talking or thinking should always be to the glory of the Lord.

Health is a great treasure. It is the richest possession that we can have. Wealth, honor, or learning is dearly purchased if it be at the loss of the vigor of health. None of these attainments can secure happiness if health is wanting.(MYP,p.240)

Since the mind and the soul find expression through the body, both mental and spiritual vigor are in great degree dependent upon physical strength and activity; whatever promotes physical health promotes the development of a strong mind and a well-balanced character.  Without health, no one can as distinctly understand or as completely fulfill his obligations to himself, to his fellow-beings, or to his Creator. Therefore the health should be as faithfully guarded as the character. A knowledge of physiology and hygiene should be the basis of all educational effort.(MYP,p.232)

1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

Proverbs 9:18 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”

Exodus 23:25 “And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”

Exodus 15:26 ” And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statues, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that health thee.”
