As a follower of God we must always have on the armor of God. The constant attacks will never end. The devil will only try harder and harder because he knows how close we are to his end. He knows he will be destroyed so he wants to bring down as many of us as he can with him. Without the armor of God we will fall victim to his attacks, and it will satisfy him. He will try his best to hit us where it hurts the most, so we need to be ready. The attacks will come from every direction, whether it involves a loved one, or someone close to us, we need to trust God to handle these problems and pray for the one that satan uses to attack us. Remember, God doesn’t give us anything we can’t handle, His Word says that. These are tests that we need to pass because it is only going to get worse. We must not let lies, gossip, or slander get the better of us because we have a Father in heaven who looks out for His children. Trust Him. Who better than God to protect us? I would be more scared of a punishment by God than a punishment by man, wouldn’t you? And no, I am not portraying God as a tyrant, like I said before, He will fight for us. With God anything is possible.
We are only human, and sometimes negative thoughts take over our minds, but we can’t let this negativity ruin our days, or take away our sleep. The devil knows stress can make us weak minded, and that’s why he throws these bad thoughts into our head, because he knows the weak minded tend to stumble and fall. If you let this happen, you’re letting the enemy win. Ask God for help, he will lift us back up. God knows our hearts, he knows the attacker’s heart as well. Sometimes people do this because of jealousy, anger or because they don’t want to hear the truth. Look at what the Pharisees, Scribes and Rulers did in Matthew chapter 13, they were determined that they would not see the evidences of truth, and they avoided the most obvious conclusions. To justify their course of stubborn unbelief, they lost no possible opportunity of seizing upon anything in the teaching of Jesus that they could misconstrue, misapply, or falsify. When there was no possibility of misapplying the truth of Christ’s words, these men who rejected the counsel of God against themselves, started questions that had no reference to the matter in hand, so as to attract the attention of the people away from the lesson that Jesus sought to teach, and adroitly evade the truth. The Pharisees were not blindly opposing the doctrines of Christ; for the truth made deep impressions upon their minds; but they resisted the truth, and went contrary to their convictions, closing their eyes lest they should perceive, and be converted, and Christ should heal them (EGW).
Unfortunately this is happening all over the world today, we need to stay strong with the armor of God, keep our bodies fueled with healthful nutrient filled whole foods so our brains work properly, and focus on God’s instructions to guide us, And always pray that all of the lost souls out there find Jesus before it’s too late.
